Yeah, I did look into powdercoating them right when I bought it but I bet it's gonna be cheaper to just switch them out.
Looks good to me, I'd rip around in it. After I changed out the rims, that seems to be whats gheying it up, IMO.
At what point Trav will you concede the undeniable fact that not only are the wheels ...Mad ghey / but the whole jeep thing could be some sort of mid life crisis....... Alot of unanswered questions about your ownership of said ghetto cruiser .........Hmm that poll needed 1 option ..........." 808 called it ....and I'm driving this thing off a bridge"
Yep. Stock aluminum 5 spokes from a TJ. I'll check the shed and make sure they're still there today. Not 100% sure on the diameter/width.
I'm still a huge fan of Swampers. Had some 31's on my stock rims and they were like rain tires in the snow Once I did the spacer lift I went to Cragar black steel wheels and 33" Buckshot Mudders which are a fantastic tire for the price, wear forever and still work great. Never did replace those, they were on it with 50% wear left when I traded it.
I have a set of stock YJ rims off an 87 with tires. $100 plus shiping if you want them edit: sorry at first glance I thought it was a YJ no idea if they will fit yours
