But, seriously, I'd say if it's not stopping you from getting your work done, the or negatively impacting the customer or your professional reputation, I say ignore it for now. If it is, and you've done everything you can do at a lower-level, time to escalate up the chain. Focus on any negative impacts to work and customer relations (not the fact that he may annoy you).
