And you think old Ralphie boy is bad? Murray is a great character, great knowledge, is a bike man first and foremost but an absolutely crap commentator.

One year on the BBC while reviewing the grid for 250cc GP race at Donnington he came out with the immortal line "And there's Reinhold Roth, the Honda man riding the German."

 

Like I said...There can only be ONE...and it's Murray.

Wow Shaheen has a COMMANDING lead. Hey SPEED are you listening? Didn't think so. I hate how they feel the need to splice him in to the MotoGP races before and after the commercial breaks like we all need an update on the things we've missed. I guess that's because they can't manage to broadcast the top level, world championship, 45 minute motorcycle race commercial free. But hours and hours of NASCRAP.... we wouldn't wanna miss one of those left turns.

On the subject of good announcers, you know who I miss seeing/hearing on TV? Alain De Cadenet.

wish we could get the guys from BSB, Jaimie Whitam makes a dull race a good one to watch ,ive even heard them taking the piss out of the rider's...lol but he's been there so he can. Maybe its just British Humor but it makes for a great race.As for my vote That goes to Ralph.. he is the worst i think i have ever listened to. calling out wrong riders or wrong bikes, as for the live coverage at miller the last few years its was painfully embarrassing, They hadnt even researched the correct pronunciation of the riders names..Ouch

That aside, I hate Ralph Sheeheen too. Scott Russell is just from the backwoods of Deliverance - hence the thick country twang. I hate his voice, but at least he offers more insight than Ralph. "Thar goes a Mayaaan on da Mooooove."
