Kickstand removal

    gixxerlvr Shoot, Move, Communicate

    I did an extensive search and found nothing. I need to remove my kickstand for racing, what do I need to do in terms of wiring, so I can put it into gear without it shutting off, but I am not electronically talented. Can you break this down barney style? BTW this is for a 08 CBR-600RR.

    Cut the two wires that go to the kickstand switch and solder them together.

    Thanks to the OP for replying. The worst thing is finding threads like this where the OP replies "Sorted it myself" but don't actually say how and then disappear forever!

    Yes, all I did was cut the wires, twist them together and BANG!!! Sorry for the delay in answering. Took me less than 5min.

    Make sure you solder them together. If they come apart the bike is going to shut off on you.:up:
