Spring Clips

  1. Thinking of getting a set from KG, seems it would be a lot easier than having to rewire every time you need to remove some bolts.

But, can't use 'em on oil drain bolt and pass tech.

Is there a point to this post?

  5. Wanted to know if they were worth getting and if they'd pass tech.

Go to home depot and get em. I have them all over my bike, they are cheap and easy.

Home Depot has these clips too. FYI.

With all due respect, Home Depot didn't just send a sizable check to the RRW Action Fund.
    Kurvey Girl did.

+1 on buying from KurveyGirl, but those spring slips still have to be attached to the bike with safety wire. Not that it is a big issue, but just so you know. I used to have a lot of them all over my bike. but slowly I have stopped. I just do safety wire.

I like doing safety wiring. It is a good time to look the bike over and meditate a bit.

For the fork leg pinch bolts (non-axle side), if you drill them on each side, you can simply put one of those clips through both of them without any safety wire needed.

On the axle side, you'll need to hitch two of them together with safety wire.
