Damn fine shots as always Brandon. Eslick is always good for the "show" at our Seattle 100 charity event and Bones has even some more shots of him in his gallery at the SM track. Sick stuff. Maybe someday I'll grow up and be able to ride my bike as good as Danny did...LOL!
Well if he used it to initiate and than let off we wouldn't know. Based off the picture...it appears his toe opened up due to his riding position. If you just try it sitting down at your desk and move to that same type of position you heel will likely twist pointing your toe the same as it did for Chaz. Other pics posted are at different points, and I'm sure others may have or use different body weighting and positioning. With that said...I believe you don't have to use much back brake on a twin as you might (if that is your style of getting the rear to step out) on a inline. I believe most top guys are using engine braking, clutch, and body "english if you will".
I heard Yate answer in a interview say that he does his with the clutch lever modulation not the rear brake.
Actually that's his 5th MotoGP win there. He won 2 in 2005, and that pic is Philip Island which was his 3rd win in 2006
In my Flattrack days backing it in at Trailway Speedway. Hanover, Pa. Notice the gard rail behind me crashing in the wall sucked.
That picture always blows me away because it looks like Stoner is lined up to just shoot across the grass. :wow:
