ok ok ok- i was told this story by an American while i was in India.
apparently some chick was house/dog sitting a friend in NYC and on the second night of the seven day event the dog died.
so the next day, still freaked out she decides to put the dog into a duffel bag and take it to the vet. ( now this dog is a medium size pup- the breed isnt all that important cept that it weighed a good bit)
she thought that taking a taxi would be too expensive, so she decided to take the subway. on the way to the subway a guy confronted her and asked if she needed any help- she said yes and then the gentleman asked what she was carrying. she couldn't exactly say "my friends dead dog" so she just said a stereo system.
once they got down to the subway and were about to board the lady stepped into the subway and the guy took off with the bag...
