I was the lunkhead (wearing the orange shirt) that choked and almost looped the FZR at the start. (Maybe none of you saw the "wheelie" as you all were pretty much along on your way to turn 1). Anyway, my apologies. I expect that I have extracted my head and should be a bit better prepared at Summit.
no apologies nessesary Doug, we all botch a start every now and then. note to self .............always start in 1st gear
congrats greg. shannon's not to shabby huh? looked like some close racin'. you too kenny. good on ya son.
I had a blast. Greg ..... I wondered what took you so long to pass me in the MW race .... guess it was the second gear start thing I had one of the best launches of my life and was hoping to get away from you (no such luck). Anyways, it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed every minute of it. Now, if I could just get in shape and loose about 50 pounds I might be able to make Greg work for those wins Stick ...... new honder? What's up with that? You waiting for some special occasion to unveil a new machine?
I had resigned myself to be last to T1, but I went ahead and putted past since noone was really moving. I think they were letting me get in front of them just so they'd have someone else to pass.
do you have any suggestions on how to make that happen? I tried asking really nice, but that obviously didn't work.
Get them hammered on Sat. night. You really have to get them going so that the noise of your pipe hurts thier heads to bad to pass you.
