I'm swapping an FZR400 frame onto my FZR600. Anybody know if the gas tanks are supposed to be interchangable (can I use my 600 tank in the 400 frame?) They have different Yamaha part #s. Anybody know if I need the 400 tank for sure?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Tim-
I should still have a 400 tank in the garage.

The neck on then=m are different. I think you just have to use the proper ring in the tank cover to match the tank.

If you can pick it up, it's yours.

Yeah - Stick is correct here. The filler neck is different.
