Lots of good movies in here that I need to rewatch. No Country For Old Men is my standout.

I'M generally not a comedy guy nothing against them but I'm always drawn to darker or historical movies but in the last few months I put together a few comedy/dark comedies you can never go wrong with Airplane, Animal House, Blazing Saddles, Better Off Dead, Hop Tub Time Machine,Fun with Dick and Jane,Grand Budapest Hotel, War of the Roses, Dumb and Dumber, Fargo Fast Times at Ridgemont High baby!! Young Frankenstein, Mars attacks,Ferris Bueller's Day Off and I always like Secretary... Oh I got Romancing the Stone... Most every movie people have mentioned before obviously I agree with almost everybody's choice

I'm glad someone finally mentioned Smokey and the Bandit. There is no way..... no way you cant watch and laugh your ass off. But you F'ers must not work in real life or you would have said Office Space. Live that shit every day

I’ve only been able to watch from beginning to end once. Seen bits and pieces a couple times. That’s an absolute awesome movie!

the intros to the Cannonball movies were great for a young boy wanting to see exotica stretching its legs with a helping of pinup women driving.

I think my vote goes to Thin Red Line. I'm blown away every time I watch that flick.

I could think of hundreds of movies that were memorable...but I thought this was supposed to be best movie ever, not 'every movie you like'. As long as we're going that direction, check out Motherlode, with Charlton Heston, and Kim Basinger in her first movie. Scenery is great, and her acting is......interesting.

Wait you're comparing a cheezy Canadian band's video/movie to a band with a drummer considered to be the best rock drummer ever, with a lead guitarist that's in the top five best ever, and sold 300 million albums, then put out a movie that was copied by so many (hint, hint) for their MTV videos when MTV arrived years later? I can't even...

I see someone managed to get Rocky Horror in.Might as well add some of the other 70's late show fodder like Vanishing Point, MASH and Catch 22

Catch-22 was a MEH movie. It was a great book.

I read Catch-22 in junior year in HS. Got caught reading it during English class; he took it from me. After class, the teacher returned it and asked me what I thought of it. I replied that it was satirical with some insight. He nodded then advised me to pay attention to his current topic, as Heller was not going to be on the mid-term exam.
