All reasonable points.....but some of us also grew up with drum brakes on our motorcycles at a young age too.....doesn't mean that that's a good thing to continue
Yeah, nothing like gridding up and having one of the grid Marshall’s running up to throw a quickie temporary transponder in your suit because your own decided to crap out on the warm up lap………once or twice a season
I was really hoping Evelyn was going to buy Kevin out and put 99% amateur racing under the WERA umbrella
Do you know what it costs to do a weekend there nowadays? Last time I asked Kevin about that was a few years ago and he said it was about $55k for a Saturday/Sunday event total. Wondering if they've increased the price now.
That sounds about right. I've heard $20-25k per day. That does include all the corner workers and track staff etc.
YEP - everyone thinks its tough!! I grew up doing business with manual credit card swipers that embossed the CC info.. then had to do real math to add up the sales at the end of the day.... The Horror The Horror..
RA would have to get the stick out of their asses. they made false claims and added crazy cleanup fees for a clean paddock when CCS left. they made it very difficult for them to run an event there. i'd say it's very unlikely to see it on the schedule again.
Gonna sound like a broken record here but why doesn’t MA not buy WERA? It’s their feeder series handed to them on a plate with a slice of pie on the side! as for the ccs news, I haven’t seen the financials and won’t but it seems (to me) like your corner pizzeria buying little ceasars corporate.
Unless It’s to her benefit and she wants to sell…….I sure as hell don’t want MA to buy WERA. I’ve been looking forward to racing WERA exclusively again this coming year since my kids will all be done with school etc. Screw MA
