Just an FYI, he can speak for me on this. Maybe you should keep your totally nonsensical Minnesnowta ideas to yourself on the wrong side of the St. Croix river!!!
Look Chummy, you’re practically Inuit now, you don’t get a voice in denying the monumental drinking accomplishments of the Badger State.
Nicely played... (Had to Google it, did not read that book) Grok Grok is a neologism coined by American writer Robert A. Heinlein for his 1961 science fiction novel Stranger in a Strange Land. While the Oxford English Dictionary summarizes the meaning of grok as "to understand intuitively or by empathy, to establish rapport with"
Deny the drinking accomplishments in WI? Heaven forbid, we are all, justifiably, proud of our record and reputation. I will have it known that I attended two universities in this fine state that are untarnished in the reputation of drinking and drunkeness, UW-LaCrosse and UW-Madison. They are as prestigious as they come, especially in the drinking arena, so you can just hush up about that. I do noy however, condone drunk driving in any form, just stumble on home or sleep on the sidewalk like the rest of us. One time I pushed my best friend down a hill in a shopping cart while we were both kinda drunk, does it count as drunk driving if he started out on the sidewalk?
He wasn't thinking much of anything by that point, he did think it was a good idea and climbed in the cart by himself, pretty much. He thought less of the idea after the fact, but it wasn't so bad as it didn't require another trip to the hospital.
Get a copy. It's one of those must-reads. What else haven't you read? Catcher In The Rye? 1984? Hitchhiker's trilogy?
What else I haven't read? That would a shit load of books! Though in that list, only Catcher is missing. Mindewe, Hitchhiker, while initially brilliant, started to bore me after a while and dropped it after 3/4 way through... The Goldfinch is the last book that I finished recently. Chuck full of fascinating characters, ...except the main one. Way too much self analysis, didn't enjoy it that much. Shantaram is a book that pops into my mind that was quite good.
Doesnt look good according to this article.... Glad she didnt kill/hurt anyone else when she did this. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/anne-heche-suffered-severe-brain-031345594.html
Sounds like she's brain-dead and they're just putting off pulling the plug. Probably best for all involved.
Given these people make their money off their looks and last performance, her future was probably pretty grim. Given her state when this all happened, she probably wasn’t having a good time, as it was.
