Didn’t like Rossi’s body language when he trudged away from his crashed bike. Have always been a big fan, but I sadly think maybe it’s time.
Rossi's career was over when Morbidelli's bike flew in front of his face. He was white as a sheet on camera after that and didn't have the look of a man who wanted to get back on track.

Marquez did not do a timed attack in P2, he stayed out on used slicks. Should be an interesting P3 tomorrow
Marquez was P1 after FP1, but his time was 1.21.6xx. Will be interesting to see how he's progressed over the past two weeks. I'm saying 6-10th for the race.
I'm still amazed that KTM has taken such a big step so quickly, or maybe its just Miguel. Either way, to be about half a second off MM93's time from Q2 in 2019 during FP2 is impressive.
Between that and Simoncelli, you are probably right. He has been the face of MotoGP for a long time. It won't be the same without him. I guess one more good race is too much to ask for, but one can hope.
He hasn’t been the face for a while. Marc has. Because he is still king even though he hasn’t recovered as fast as most thought. He’s human. If Rossi lucks into a podium this year. He should toss his hat, take a bow and never get on a GP bike again.
A mic drop would be nice, but he'll probably finish off his contract. It's been rumoured that Petronas already has their rider lineup for next year and Rossi is not one of them. ~sent from mobile
Marc is about as much the face of motogp as Lorenzo was. Half the world that watches it can't stand him. He might be one of the stars of the show but no one will ever bring it to the masses like Rossi did.
Who is confirmed at VR46 next year? They were saying on TV today that Rossi is prepared to cut KTM in massive check for the rights to Acosta.
The big question is who is MM going mug during qualifying? Hoping its Oliveira cause I don't see MM getting under Oliveira's skin.
He may hit up Miller.. "Jack, can, uh, well, uh you know, do the tow thing again" "Sure Mark, same amount as before?" "Yes, Jack, that works.."
This. Can you imagine MM93 trying to run a race team in another 10-20 years? Even now, the kids Rossi has brought through the ranks via Tavullia and now VR46 will be as much of his legacy as his riding. The Lorenzo's AND Stoner's come and go, but when it's all said and done Rossi will be THE Godfather of MotoGP, even if you don't call him GOAT.
Marquez will also be known as the guy who ended Rossi's competitive career. GP will survive and his old fans will still attend races rooting for other riders, life goes on like everything else.
The truly funny thing is that the main reason so many people dislike Marquez is because he rolled on to the scene and beat Rossi head to head. The kid is always smiling, is intimidated by no one and looks like he is enjoying himself. There is not alot there to hate that I can see.
