Can't believe it still works perfectly. Figured thete must be some great phone experiences here. Pretty much. Completely submerged mine for at least 20mins then spun on fast.. completely impressed for a 3 year old phone. I had a friend put his iPhone in his fish tank to take a picture of one of his scallops and he instantly fried it.
Swam with an ATT flip phone (salt water) and laundered my Samsung. Both survived with a little aid from the woman's hair dryer. Didn't have any rice either time but the heat from the dryer did the trick just fine. Your phone is one tuff mofo.
It was the weed Only waterproof if all of the port plugs are sealing properly. After 3 years of unplugging there charging port to charge it, in actually surprised. And the fact nothing else on it leaked significantly which to cause it to fail is pretty impressive.. The screen has a dark spot on it from where I sat a cabinet in it once even. Clearly I don't go out of my way to take care of it. And the rice thing does not work. Tried that after submerging a phone in a salt water pool once.
Got to ask, might be a stupid question but, why did you run the phone through washing machine? Dish washer or clothes washer? I know but I've had people ask what I mean when I said washing machine and maybe someone is wondering.
So. . . "Hey, I'm ah doing underwear and socks and ma' phone is dirty so I'll toss it in?" Okay, I guess.
Luckily, you didn't leave tissue in that same pocket (for the runny nose from covid-19, presumably). The lint bomb finds every opening and crevice in a phone. No need to ask how I know...
