Heading up NC I-77 on Wednesday I had the TeamPenske Indycar team pass me. All of SIX of their semis. Fuck you money right there.
Good race. Dixon always seems to end up at or near the front. Will Power bouncing off cars last week and the pit crew never tightened the front left tonight. I will say that I was against the new shield and definitely saw where it kept drivers alive tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Most of the drivers don't mind the shield, some even like it. Power said he can't imagine racing without one. Pretty good race, never count Penske out.
Cole Pearn (Nascar champion crew chief) signs today to be a car engineer for Ed Carpenter Racings Indy 500 entry.
I'll put this here. Alex Zanardi showing signs of improvement. Dude is a real badass, they'll write medical journals about this guy. https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/zanardi-showing-signs-clinical-improvements/4859854/
It's official....Jimmy Johnson will drive for Ganassi on the road/street courses next year....https://formularapida.net/nascar-ch...8oNhQubTzsZ3qpLDQlLVl2fjjuFJo_bd37OXHRmv0f-Fg
No, I doubt if he even goes to any of the races this weekend. He buried his FIL yesterday. And they only use 1 spotter for the road course, at the Pagoda. Great weekend to race though, sunny and mid 60s. Two IndyCar races and an 8 hour Intercontinental GT Challenge on Sunday.
Oh I am sorry to hear that, sincere condolences. I'll definitely have a thought for him and his family when I watch the racing this weekend.
Thank you. Him and Kathy are huge race fans, if they're not at the track, they're at a race party somewhere. Those GT cars look interesting.
The list of cars in this race is impressive.... ACURA BENTLEY BMW FERRARI LAMBORGHINI MERCEDES-AMG PORSCHE
I wish Bentley would pony up the money with Jimbo so that they can race in IMSA. Those cars make me feel funny.
