This guy does not corner low, meh. https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/video-segway-apex-electric-motorcycle-harm-good/
I feel sorry for the test rider, especially if he really knows what he is doing and the bike is fighting to not lean
Looks like in some of the video the track is damp. If they only had one bike to shoot the video with they might have decided to just go easy easy on it. I dunno. Looks small but cool. Reminds of my old rs250
They lost me at Chinese owned. Forget about cornering low. It'll catch fire the first time you charge it.
I’m pretty sure it’s the same company as segway... those stand up 2 wheel things. Those are pretty reliable.
You can't trust that. It could easily be another company's product with a Segway badge slapped on. The fact that they even released that video shows to me they don't really know the motorcycle market. That shit was terrible! LA Honda exec who approved an ad that made their product look that shitty would be summarily dumped in Tokyo Bay.
Does it wheelie? Why did they splice in some Gillette grooming closeups? Will it require men to be castrated like the bike will probably be??
You mean like the recently announced all new "Segway" e-bike that is literally a Sur Ron with their badging?
This stuff is getting out of control. https://www.engadget.com/2020/01/03/blackberry-damon-electric-superbike/
You're assuming that 'artist rendering' is the final version. https://www.topgear.com/car-news/electric/damon-hypersport-motorbike-anti-crash-tech
I think itd be cool and provide some credibility if it was produced with the same front end and brakes as an R6. I doubt partnerships with Showa and Brembo come lightly. plus theres little point in adding to the cost with the latest BPF offering when 99% of customers cant tell the diff anyway. unfortunately, I doubt that'll happen.
Saw this concept for an electric flat tracker. This would tempt me, especially if it would really perform on a flat track. I'm wondering if you can tune it for just the right engine braking to simplify backing it into a corner. No shifting into or out of a flat track turn would be cool I would think... https://www.rideapart.com/articles/394304/harley-electric-flat-track-concept-update/
