Which is going to be all the more hilarious/disturbing as CPD continues to release more and more evidence against him. My guess is they made sure to gather plenty of evidence to bury this putz which is going to be great.

 

I dont think they have the evidence to convict at jury trial.

A smoking gun isn't required for a conviction.

 

For PR purposes, it has been established that a gay, black man is safe in Chicago from roving bands of Trump supporters. They'll let it die away now, with some weak plea deal for the extras.

 

This is why his lawyers would never let him come back in and talk to the police. They knew he would be walking right into a trap set with evidence galore. If one side tells their story, and all of the physical evidence you have gathered matches up to their version of events, then that elevates their credibility and when the other person's story doesn't match any of the available evidence, then you have Jussie. The check was but one small piece of (humorous) evidence.

Then again, juries can be fickle. OJ is still walking the streets.
