Nah, a Reduc member started NESBA (I remember them handing out flyers in the paddock) but they were two separate clubs.
I corner-worked and manually scored a 3-wave 60+ grid amateur 600 race, as part of going through the racer school. You couldn't even score accurately until lap three. Get off my lawn!
So some douche bag that I won't mention by name has cancelled all of his remaining track days at Nelson's, including the one that caused Wera to lose the Labor Day weekend date that was tentatively booked. Is it too much to hope for that we could add this weekend back to the schedule and race that weekend?
Too late now, already announced we're doing Road Atlanta at Mid-Ohio. Still a little concern over the runoff too but we do expect to get something going there for 2019.
A week later and 300 miles less driving for most of the NC, pull the pin big dog, hell i might even lather up in some butter and slide my leathers on for that.
Fixed it for you! Yes, he has cancelled and stiffed the track on the deposit. So the track loses the deposit money that was never paid, and we lose the chance to race there this year
Good to know...I bet some locals will still show up tomorrow, because I haven't seen anything posted about the cancellation.
I know for a fact that the track posted on fb about the cancellation...I’m sure it would be on their webpage too
24 hrs always been one of the goals when Rob, Jim, Rosey and I started taking about endurance racing under the N2 banner. More like we can dream type deal... I think an 8 hour with a portion at night would be more feasible. I know it’s been discussed before but what are thoughts on 8 as opposed to 12 as opposed to 24... and... go! (Believe it or not we listen lol) Ride safe, AAron
