i’m admitting I’m too chicken to play with men’s bikes. Up for sale or trade is my 99 R6 Sr SB project. Huff and I took this down to a bare frame and put it back together. Serviced and greased every bearing and sleeve. Cleaned and rebuilt the calipers and masters, he went thru the motor, trans and carbs. It made an uncorrected 98 on his dyno. No way it can be street (no title) or SS legal. I did 1 trackday and it scared me. Light, under 350# Vortex stay 2 way Penske w/ RCS Ti spring Racetech digressive valves up front and springs for 200# Thinned harness, keyless AL and Ti fasteners Decent bodywork Michelin DOT’s that are 2015’s but only have ~100mi on them 1 extra set of 99-02 3 spoke wheels that need to be rebuilt. 1 set of ‘07 5 spoke wheels that need to be adapted. A cheap rear stand included. 30min south of Road Atlanta Will trade for an equally well preped Ninja 250 for FSS. Or a street legal later GPZ 550 PM me an email for pics.
So no issues with the bike it is currently running and ready to race? Is there a reason that the body work is off the bike in the pics ? Also I have a black 2014 grom like new that my son was going to race but decided to skip straight to a 600 any chance on a trade let me know .
Needs water, gas and a few things wired again. I drained it for winter. Took the body off to get to the water pump amd hoses to drain it. Then pulled the subframe and removed the plastic under tail to lighten it some more. Let’s talk abt the Grom. You have my email
I’m not a scam but I will buy another persons 1999 R6. Just wanted to know where you live. Buford are in multiple states. No wonder you haven’t sold it yet.
