Absolutely. Hell, I'd start it at people with 10+ year sentences. Or, screw it... ANYONE going to the big house, regardless of sentence.
When I hear about people fighting for criminals rights, it always makes me think about the victim's rights and how the victim usually gets fk'd in the deal. They didn't choose to get killed/raped but seems like the criminal still gets the choice to stay in jail or off himself. Those aren't good choices but there is still a choice and that is a freedom the victim didn't have.
If you are convicted of a violent crime. You just forfeited your rights. Just my take on how it should be.
There was some movie where they dropped off all the lifers on an island and it was a survival of the fittest. I'm all for that. Care package drop once a month, have a nice life.
