We had a place open up in town the serves their version of an "Elvis" Burger.. - 1/4 lb beef patty - 2 carmelized bananas slices - peanut butter - 3 tsp honey - served on a pretzel roll. It was one of the best things I have ever had. All 5000 calories of it
It sounds cray. But it all blended really well. The only part that I didn;t like was the PB was so hot it burned the top of my tounge. Small price to pay
That reminds me about the craving I've had for a good Monte Cristo lately. Anyone know of a good place in the north ATL to get one?
The best sandwich I have ever had is from a local place called Scottys. It's a 1/2 lb burger with peanut butter, jalapeƱos, cheddar cheese and bacon along with the usual toppings. You can also get a side of tater tots with cheese, bacon and sour cream on them.
here used to be a restaraunt chain called Bennigans that had a really good one. Surprised if the Vortex doesn;t have one..
One of my favorites after track at njmp is the memphis mauler from jacks barbecue. Burger with brisket, pulled pork, bacon, caramelized onions and cheese.
That sounds delicious. I'll be working in the area this weekend. I may have to stop by on the way home. I love me some pretzel buns.
Peanut butter (smooth, not crunchy) and bacon sammiches. Absolute heaven. Not a regular meal. Just a once every so often... -jim
It sounds good except for the beef. I like banana and mayo sammiches, or banana and peanut butter. I want to race go-carts.
