I'm quite shocked that all 18 WSBK entries did a better lap time than Hayes. Yes, I realize their world championship caliber racers, but Hayes result I'm motogp came against high caliber opponents as well. Just woulda thunk....... I'm sure some of the time is in the machines, as well. For a good comparison, anyone know Spies WSBK times there?
and a lot more hp...better suspension...less weight.... Check the trap speeds between the two...I haven't checked em...but I bet WSBK is a good bit higher. If you think Hayes is outclasses in WSBK...you smokin crack. Good crack. Like "all of a sudden I like Justin Beiber and pink elephants" crack.
It looks like it's a tire difference more than anything else. Pirellis are obviously better than the Dunlops. 5 pages, easy.
Apparently someone stole all of Melissa's takeoffs which she was going to use to pay down her tire bill for the weekend according to her post on FB. That sucks and and whoever did it I hope karma is a real bitch in the near future.
Does Benny love that Yamaha much?! Sure it's early in practice, but he's on pace to be a factor so far!
Little kids on bikes with some hp is fun to watch. Remember Herrin's first ride at Miller? Rocket ship.
Yes he is! Josh is a machine early on as usual, but Danny ain't slow! Shocker to me was to see Rapp running...!
WSBK spec bikes and their AMA counterparts are pretty far apart. I can tell you for a fact the WSBK Yamaha team was very impressed w/Hayes times last year considering. Buells look fast down the straight.
