OK, I got emailed a spreadsheet with some fair food info on it. Scary stuff. Who the hell eats fried butter? Also, why does a hotdog with chili have more calories? Anyone wanna take a guess at the calories in a turkey leg?
His my list from last week: Polish sausage with peppers and onions Rootbeer float 3 Asada tacos Candy Apple Blue Raspberry slushy 2 - Candy Apples 1 - bag of cotton candy walking to the car
i know. I'm huge these days. Mostly in Germany. Now I have to figure out how to post it up here? I don't even now how to proofread, how am I supposed to know how to do that?
That reminds me that I ate half the wifes funnel cake. The cinnamon sugar on top really set off the deep fried dough.
I had an apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream at the Ellijay Apple Festival last weekend - last month at GA State Fair it was a Funnel Cake! Shared with Sean on the dumpling and with Brian on the Funnel Cake! Brooke had cotton candy - which I introduced her to last year at the Circus - now it has become a standard! Fair food is great and thank God Fairs are not a constant!
Somebody give me an email to send this spreadsheet to. I'll let one of you post it up. MMMMM turkey leg
Frack wants to open a Fair Food Restaurant to make this stuff more accessible. I'm very mixed on that. But I'd surely go there more than once a year.
I'd take death by tryptophan OD over anything else. Give me year-round access to those damned turkey legs and I'll be a happy man. Joe and I tore through that fair like I can only imagine a crazed Charlie Sheen being set loose in a vault full of cocaine.
