starting numbers for ride height (eye to eye) and/ or any
other information that might help? had a great time racing

Hey Greg Its Mike. I don't have your number in my new phone. The one Louis gave me keeps going to a fax machine. Give me a ring 467-2185 and I'll try and help out any way I can. Usually sag is around 25 to 30 mm. As far as ride height..I just kept raising mine until it turned the way I wanted it to without the rear wheel spinning up coming out of the corner. I'm sure there's a better way but thats what worked for me. Give me a ring..I'm free all day Sunday.

i come up an inch long.

and play with you guys next year. it'll be a ball. is it ok

You may have the wrong year shock,if so you just have to change the linkage, which equates to 1".Do you have any free sag??Ck.that first, but my guess is you have the wrong one which can easily happen since they will fit F2's and 3's.All F2's and 97 and 98 are the same.95 and 96 are different.

And yes that is without you on the bike.I think I have that linkage if you need it.

melch, my sag is correct, so if you can spare it i'd like to
get that linkage. let me know want for it.
    again thanks alot

No names ... but when I attended my first GNF, I showed up with a stock bike and I was told. "If you're gonna run with us, then you're gonna have to cheat ... we all do, but nobody cares"

    Granted this was pre-Skwid. :Poke:

PS - my bike will be legal, so I all ready have my first excuse, besides my skill.

It's a superbike class right, where period specific items are legal? How can you cheat?

I read over the rules, and as far as I know my bike is perfectly legal
