Are most of you using 600/750 or 1000 stuff?

    Also what year works best?

Anyone know of anything else that works well.

What aftermarket fairing stay should you use? SV or GSXR etc?

I have 2006 GSXR 1000 stuff and it works fine.

    I have 2006 GSX-R600 bodywork on mine. I use the 06 600 fairing stay.

My bodywork had to be modified slightly to mount the lowers.

I just used 04-05 GSXR600/750 bodywork. It looks good but I won't do it again. I rather use 2nd Gen SV bodywork and be done with it. Too much of a PITA to trim and fit, make brackets etc. I used a 01-04 GSXR1000 tail and I like it a lot. No fitment problems there...
I see you're a bodywork guy but I'm not and I hate doing that stuff!

Why don't you just use SV bodywork?

00-03 GSXR 1000 bodywork on mine...it's a little wider on the front end which puts the frame sliders under the bodywork, but it kept the frame sliders from hooking on pavement when I went down the first time...

i use the 04/05 GSXR600 bodywork. i make 3 simple brackets out of aluminum bar stock and use wellnuts and zipties for the tail (can't see the zipties). the lower needs to be trimmed to clear the shifter. i also trim the upper and lower toward the rear where they meet so that i can pull it closer to the frame. yes, the SV bodywork is easier, but i like the look of the GSXR bodywork. because of the extra work involved, i recommend that you drill and mount it before you paint it.

Do not use SV sharkskinz. I had two sets and it's terrible. You'll drag the belly pan all over the place and it's so wide over the bike and doesn't look good at all. Get a set of Armour bodies for an SV. Looks great and fits perfect.

Yeah, well all except that damn split-pea green color scheme. Between that and Wischmeyer's pink accents it's a colorful team. :D

What about 05 GSXR1000 stuff? I can get some from a friend....

Also anyone got pics of the Duc stuff?

Im not looking for simple nor complicated. I did GSXR stuff on my 1st gen back in 01 with no insight. It turned out awesome....

    Will check into Armour
