http://cyclenews.coverleaf.com/cyclenews/20121218#pg35 Seems strange to refer to a subpar season with podiums in all but 4 races.
It prob didn't help that he blamed his bike more then once through the season. Shame though, I hope he finds a ride and gets his head sorted. Seemed that he was his worst enemy this past year.
Yeah, if he was subpar, what was the rest of the grid? I guess the issue is the way he seemed to slide back toward the end, but I'm not sure how much of that was him losing it as opposed to R. Hayden, Herrin and Eslick figuring some things out as they went. I'd love to see that! Though I'd also like to see Cory West on an EBR too. It's probably hoping for too much to think they could afford three riders. But there has been talk about EBR getting into WSBK in the years to come and if they're serious about that, they could really use a rider like Young . . . or Eslick.
He should take attitude lessons from Mr. Hayes or any of the Hayden clan or Cardenas or Zemke or Pridmore or Bostrom Bros. or pretty much anyone else....... Just sayin'.......
EBR was talking about WSBK earlier in the year. Erik said that Hero was wanting to become a world player in racing. I would think that they have a ways to go to get the 1190 competitive on the world level though.
A buddy at work has a 2013 calendar (not sure which one) with a sick pic of Stoner. He hsa lean angle that defies physics. His shoulder is almost dragging the pavement. How the hell does a motorcycle even work that far leaned over?
+1 WSBK's are 2 wheeled computers. The 1190RS doesn't even have traction control and you can buy that shit off the shelf now.
Agreed, but I think their needs are pretty clear: 1. More Power and 2. Traction Control And those are two things that they should be able to add with a little work.
