Mine does the jerking in 3rd gear, but only does it at very low RPM's. I had been missing gears at the track, but the rider after all these years still hasn't got that hand foot coordination right , but I did install a shift kit, but I'm sure too late.

 

And if Eric, who I respect greatly, says something. he's probably right -

He's one of those guys who will work far beyond what he's getting paid for in order to figure something out.

Guys like him, who keep trying to elevate the level of service that you guys might get, are real gems.
