    Ok, I am trying this again.
    Would someone who races a Kawi 636 or someone else who knows please help me with sprocket ratio for VIR?
    I just bought a new chain and I can't decide weither to cut it 110 links or 112. I'm thinking about 15/42(2.80) or 15/43(2.87) or 14/41(2.93) . I only have 14 & 15 front and 40-->43 rear right now.
    I believe 15/42 would be 110 links; 15/43 maybe 110 or 112; and 14/41 would be 110. ???:confused:
    The reason I am so concerned is the terrible front end unstable tank slapping I experienced on the straight at Summit due to my too short wheel base(15/41 with 108 link chain.)

    FYI:
    With a 520 chain, every sprocket tooth, weither front or rear, added or subtracted will in effect move the rear axle about 5/16 inch forward or rearward, respectively. This is assuming the 520 has a pitch of 5/8 inch between each link. Agree? Or Not?
    Thanks for any input!
