I’ve got an 09 ZX10R. I’ve got the suspension set to my weight and refreshed. Are there any of you that remember or can advise of the best initial setup? should I add a shim to the shock?
the forks aren’t the biggest concern. The Free length of the rear is unchanged. Hoping to hear from those that have run this setup before and have made them work.
Making it work how? What track(s) do you frequent? Stock suspenders kind of blow goats for a 200lb rider fresh & sprung or not. From what I remember no shim was added but the rear was lengthened a few mm on a Penske 3 way to keep the thing from wheelieing
That’s the kind of advice I was going for. The rear was adjusted up 3mm using the Penske. I run a pair of GSXR’s they both have correct, full race spec suspension. I’ve shimmed both of this shocks up. One a Penske and the other a JRI. I’ve had the rear re-sprung for my weight and the forks revalued and sprung. I am not sure I’ll stay with this bike. I want to learn from those that have set them up.
