On my '92 3XV street, I'm having a difficult time maintaining idle, actually, not maintaining idle at all. Didn't have this problem last year. Got any clues??

    Thanx,

    Trent

How old is the gas, could just need fresh gas and a good carb cleaning...

IF that doesnt work sell it to me... :)

    I'm flattered you're asking me.

Maybe you know, but each carb has a thumbscrew that is used for adjusting the closed throttle position of the flat slide.(i.e. idle speed)

The ones on my racebike unscrew ever so slightly (lowering idle speed) when racing and need readjusting every so often or else I have the same problem you're having.

    Have you visited

I didn't know about the thumb screw so thank you. I'll check it out, among other things.

Thanx for the info and the link! :)
