I replaced the front forks and steering stem bearings on my sons PW50. When I go to tighten each fork at the top triple clamp the fork just spins? I installed the front wheel / axle / brake assembly thinking it might help, but NOPE still spins. Do I need to put some weight on them or something? Help!

Take a look at the spring seat, if they are like the Honda CRF-50's there is a notch that needs to be in place in order for the fork not to spin while you tighten the bolt to spec. If it moves out of that notch then it will spin all day to frustrate the hell out of you. If there's no notch like the CRF-50 then check if its stripped. There are a couple of videos on YouTube that may also help.

    Good luck!

    Thanks!

I finally got it to tighten down Monday night with my impact driver. I guess it just needed some SPEED! My son was able to ride for a couple hours yesterday evening with no issues.
