XT lap timer mounting location 2007 GSXR1000

    Looking for some ideas on where to mount the receiver. Suggestions??

    Yeah, I've tried the fiberglass/ air duct area, just wasn't working consistently. Thanks for all the replies!!

    Not an XT but I made a bracket out of a piece of scrap aluminum. I bent it into shape on the corner of my workbench, drilled a few holes in the fairing stay, and riveted it on. It's arranged so I can still see warning lights but can't see the speedometer (which isn't even close to accurate anyway due to gearing changes). The XT is a little bigger but you could probably do something similar.
