.....and Herrin's into the pits. Hope the bike ain't broke and makes the MA race. Bummer too, he was in the last point paying spot 15th when he dipped out. EDIT: Terry said he looked like he was in a great deal of discomfort?
My guess is if he'd been able to stay top 10 or better he'd have stayed out. Otherwise he's on pole for a race in a few in a championship he's in contention for so discretion wins out.
Man, Toni really FUBAR'd that one up. Aside from the races he's been taken out in, that was his biggest self screw-up he's had since being in MA I think.
Anyone know what happened to Kris Turner in the twins race? I see Madama is checking out on live timing.
Yeah. That was close! She rode her ass off and made up a 2.5 second gap after a horrible start. We should have the 2018 ready for Utah and it will have a proper built motor....but we will be starting from scratch again on a new bike.
Very cool extended handshake/pat on back/show of respect from Roger to Josh on the cool-down lap after the MA SBK race. Josh and the Attack crew are definitely putting in some work, this weekend.
How about Jake Motha Fuckin' Gagne today? First top 10 on the world stage; bravo! Was there attrition? Sure as hell was, but he was ahead of most of the crashers and was right on Camier's tail when he pulled off with his technical problem. Keep it up Jake! Double top-10s for the weekend will give me wood!
Also, I haven't seen a yard sale in WSBK quite like Toprak Razgatlioglu's in a loooooong time. I imagine the team didn't even try to fix that one and is just going to build his spare for tomorrow's race instead!
Speaking of Toprak's yard sale, my son got the tail section from that! Walked past the mechanics after the race and they gave it to him, he is totally stoked. I said "if you love crashed bodywork that much you should have been my on pit crew when I was racing "
