Looking for advice on a unit for my downstairs forced hot air hacv unit. I've installed a few different types of home depot types, all crapped out in a year or so. I had a tech install a Honeywell pro unit in my attic last year. Hot misting/vapor type, very well made and no issues. Just looking for something I can buy and instal myself. We have hard water here, and a softener is on the list. Just gonna be a while before it happens. Any HACV pros that can give some good advice? Downstairs is about 1000sq. Ft.
