Talladega is a pit, the entire town.

I'm the opposite at RA, I've had nothing but bad luck there. Had a plug foul on an FZR400 middle of race, so DNF. Then I crashed my RD400 during practice. Yep, during practice after driving 8 hours there, camping overnight in 100 degree heat then crash and get zero race time in. And this was because I didn't have the carbs jetted right so I was running all over the pits looking for the proper jets (thanks Dick Gruhn). Got it all back together with about 6 minutes of practice left and then went way too hot into Turn 12, thereby visiting the gravel trap. But I do love the place and the track.

The new schedule shows the February Talladega Gran Prix race has vintage and a double header.
