Headed to Myrtle Beach soon with my wife and two grade school age boys. Do you have any recommendations for dinner shows, restaurants, boat rides, fast go karts (for me), or other fun? so far we are planning on the Alligator place and the Pirate show. Thanks, Tim
North or South Myrtle? There's the Nascar Speedpark for go karts, it doesn't compare to the old Grand Prix park that used to be at the south end by the airport, but it's ok. Mini golf at every intersection. Broadway at the beach has all the shopping and restaurants, so does Barefoot landing. The state park is a lot better to go to for the beach, it's not as crowded as the hotel grand strand. Murrells Inlet has some nicer restaurants with good seafood, and little less redneck.
Take them boys on a helo ride. Several in the area...Robins units mostly. If you go to the Carolina Opry for a show, Greg Rowles is a cool host. He should get into AMA announcing.
Sit on the sand and watch the leather wrapped banana titties old ladies walk by. "See that son! That's what you end up with if you don't go to college!"
