What is a good 125 lap time at Nelson Ledges?

I last raced a 125 at Nelson in 1977 and had to hustle to get under 1:30. What do good riders on a 125 turn now? Is there a 125 lap record? (Fatbaq.com doesn't list one.)

I'll be going to Nelson soon for a trackday to run a 98/99 RS 125 I just bought. I want to know how far off the pace I'll be running.

Do any other 125 riders hit Nelson practice sessions on Wednesdays?

    lap times

Some of the fastest times were recorded by Jason Peter, Glen Pison, and the show man Tim carrol there times droped down to 1:14 -1:15 If you can start out at 1:27 and your times should drop to 1:23 with in a couple of times if you can do between 1:17to about 1:20 your in pretty good shap to get some hardware. The line around nelson is pretty narrow also one good piece of advice is keep your dampening soft use the full travel because it's bumpy and you want your tires to stay in contact. Oh one more thing gearing 16-38 works pretty good ...good luck!
