So now weraclassifieds.com directs me to an amazon.com page about scams and swindles! I mean, I can see the logic (haha) but any reason when I try to go to wera classifieds it directs me to amazon.com?

My mobile link did that a while back.

I had to delete the link and reinstall it.

If you are on a mobile device somehow the amazon ad at the top of the screen overlays the links to points, schedule, etc. I have to zoom super close and carefully click the links otherwise I get redirected to amazon.

There's like 20 threads on this on the BBS. I forget what the solution is but I'm pretty sure the cause is computer VD.

Check your host file, check your DNS server settings. Try a different browser. It's something on your PC.

As someone who knows very little about computers...

My computer does this only when I use my mobile hotspot from my Iphone. When using the iphone as a mobile hotspot, and running my MacBook Pro from it, I get redirected to the Amazon site every time I try to go to WERA classifieds. I have tried multiple browsers (chrome, safari, ect). However, if I log off the mobile hotspot from my cell, and log onto my regular wireless at home or the office, the WERA classified links all work perfectly.

    Any ideas given this info?

It sucks because I use my mobile hotspot as my internet at work (way cheaper), and I'd like to be able to access the WERA classifieds durring the day, and it won't work on my computer.

Well...this is happening when I try to go to wets classifieds directly from my iPhone. It's not a link that I'm clicking, or a matter of a browser, as the Apple-loaded Safari works fine otherwise.

The first time I went to wera classifieds from my iPhone the other day, and it went right to the classifieds no problem. Second time, the Amazon forward.

As such, I don't think it's a virus, but I'm not sure what it is.

    Given all that, any ideas?

    Thanks!

Exactly the same here on my phone directly. Sometimes it works, sometimes straight to fucking amazon!

How exactly are you getting to the classifieds?

    Link from wera.com?

Link form google or the like?

    Saved as a favorite?

    Typed in manually?

Typed in wera.com, then clicked the different classified category links at the bottom of the page (I guess linked from WERA.com would be the correct answer)

Seems to have been better lately, not sure why.

clicking the links gives me no problem. I can look at all the categories.
It's when I go to log on, that's when it redirects me.

You have some sort of virus/spyware on your computer. None of those links go to amazon so it has to be something your computer or browser is doing sorry.

Run a full scan of your computer with a decent anti-virus program
    Download Malwarebytes, install, run it
For the hell of it since you're doing some P.M. anyways, download CCleaner, run it, and notice your computer run 100x faster from the years of porn surfing you've done
Delete all cookies/history/etc on your browsers

    And finally

Go look at some more porn so the process starts all over again.

Except, this time, "This chick in your area" doesn't actually want to fuck you tonight. Don't click the damn links you goon.

It's not just porn any more, we are seeing sites like Foxnews, Bloomberg, etc. being compromised with malware. Go read the news, pick up Blackhole and then get a banking trojan for your trouble. Anti virus has about a 30% success rate detecting stuff like Zeus now, so don't count on it fixing your system either. We've seen variants that hijack symantec and use it to propagate itself, others that intercept the video output to Malwarebytes and present a screen that indicates everything is clean, etc. etc..

    Good luck, and happy surfing.
