I would like some clarfication of the rule.

    Thanks in advance.

As I read the rules, the bike would have to be manufactured in 1995 or before.

Does this mean my FZR400 is illegal for V7?

I figured the FZR400 would not be legal as someone stated a little later in this thread but...wouldn't a fzr 400 with a 600 motor in it be legal in V7 medium?

    just curious,

Yes a 400/600 would be legal for the class. The 600 motor would remove it from being legal in D-Super.

Ok, I have both a yes and a no answer, is a 1996 legal? Yes I have read the rule book and it states pre-1996, but I have been told that V7 is based on Model yr. which would be a 1996.

So can somebody give me a definite answer to a 96 being legal or not.

    Thanks

    re:

Why do they allow the older 250GP bikes in v7, but the bikes eligible for D-super are excluded? They should allow the 2-stroke 250GP replicas to squeeze in v7 too, just to be fair :D :D :D...
