04 factory with 17000 miles. Excellent shape! Guy is asking 5200.00. What’s this thing worth. Nada and Kelly blue book don’t like it much lol.
    Thanks for any help!

I have no idea but wouldn't it be worth at least that much in scrap metal and plastics alone? If it runs, why not? :D

You would think but the books are saying 4 to 4300. For whatever that’s worth.

like other stated, it’s the v2. They aren’t really that collectible.

move seen them go through the auction MINT with lower miles for $2000-3000

That’s wholesale pretty much correct? I was thinking 4 -4500 at most.
Just make me a good deal on 660 instead!!

I see them go through the insurance auctions here in Indy and most times, they don’t even sell. Parts are hard to come by and no one really even wants to race one.

Friend recently sold one with race bodywork, and all stock components. It was work to get him $4,000. YMMV

Around $4000. The thing about the '04 is, the odometer will reset back to zero when you disconnect the battery. Not every time, but often enough. I had two '04s, one bought new. They did it. My buddies did too. They all fucking do. Aprilia replaced some dash's under warranty.
Beyond that, they are solid reliable bikes. I had an rc51 before the aprilia, and an RC8 after. In terms of performance, the aprilia really was right in the middle.

I ran mine up to ten thousand miles, a few times.

Sounds like that's your best bet at the price he wants.

Pros: Good looking bike, fun and chicks'll dig it.
Cons: it's 16 years old, parts might be "difficult" to find, it won't do 205 mph like an RC51, no one really will want it if you go to sell it.

    They are cool looking. :)

That’s my problem. I need to buy it cheap enough that I can unload it in a few months and not get killed in it. I truly thought they were worth just a bit more. Is what it is though.
