V7mw sound off.

I've met a bunch of the V7mw guys over the years, but post here and let us know who's running MW this season, what bike, beverage in your cooler, 2011 plans, etc.

Do I still get to pit with the cool kids even though I got the F3? At least two rounds of RRR, Jennings & CMP (if it makes the schedule) and GNF. I swear I'm bringin' PBR (IN CANS!).

 

Picked up a project, old fzr400 race bike. Its in pretty rough shape and I think the valves are on their last adjustment so I'm going to try and find a 600 motor to put in. If I get it done before the end of the year I'll be out there.

 

I hope to run a few rounds in the NC region and will definitely be at Mid Ohio for VMD again.

I will be at most of the local endurance rounds. May do the V7MW race on Sunday. Hope to make a few others. Barber, Mid-Ohio, Road A. I would like to make it out there and check out the new guys.

My current plan is to get to one weekend per month:

March - RRR
April - Nashville
May - Jennings
June - Road ATL
July - MidO
August - VIR
September - Barber
October - GNF

 

I'm shooting for Mid O in July and Barber in September, but will be in V7HW.

 

2011 plans are to drag you ass to the track with the 6! lol

it looks like I'm dragging Russ along with me to RRR, we'll probably both will run 7mw and 7hw. nut sure if the zx7/9 will be there or just the zx6r. Rus is on a F3. after that not sure mainly North East stuff. Unless I talk Russ into going to the national rounds with me.

 

Ill try to make the RRR round on the F2. Got it back from the shop and should have something running this weekend. Then its just a matter of getting the racy bits for it...

 

what racy bits do you need? I've got quite a few and could deliver to RRR.

 

Scheduling prevents me from bumping my FZR to V7MW, so I'll be getting beat in V7HW instead. I plan to run every event at Summit Point.

I am planning on VIR, Roebling, and then NE and MA regions with the endurance at RRR, Summit, VIR, and the final. We'll see what actually happens though, the last time I was at VIR in march it was 28 degrees in the trailer when I woke up, and then it snowed.

 

3 Kawis, 6 Hondas, 3 Yami's, and a Duc.............I know there are more guys out there.

Looking at cooler selections................I'm getting a bigger lock for mine. Ya'll must be power drinkers and don't care about taste.

just picked it up for $3,250!!!

in my cooler...red bull. the one pictured, not the energy drink. usually only after the racing. then switch to old english 800 after sunset.

 

on the list still,
f3 front wheel, f3 rotors, steering damper, tail section, fairing stay....

 

I have a spare damper if you need one. Its the short style which you
mount up front, less likely to damage in crash :up:
