So, I seem to have misplaced my key...I do not have another, and its 65 and sunny out....Is there anyway I can get a key if I have lost the only factory one I own? Let me know

Call the dealership, they should be able to help.

 

The dearlership MAY be able to cut a key if you have the VIN. I would hope they would ask for some proof that you actually own the bike before doing so.

 

I am on a first name basis with the owner. Ill have to give him a call. I sure hope they can........I must ride

I was in the same predicament..

Called a locksmith.. $150 and a 2-4 hour wait..

Took the ignition off myself (as long as the steering lock wasnt activated) took it to a locksmith. $21 bucks and a 20 min wait!!

 

That sounds like a plan. If I were you, I would check the key in both the ignition and the gas tank before you head out. Sometimes they don't get it exactly right.
