How much do you want to spend and how much do you want to ride? The colin edwards school mentioned is awesome, but you will need to fly about 1300 miles away to attend that one.

You can attend this school for only $199 including bike. I've never done this school but one of the instructors, Stuart Smith is a California Superbike School Instructor and has a track record at Willow Springs on big bikes. http://socalsupermoto.com/ This is about 1 hour from LAX.

There is a flat track school about 250 miles from LA with Rich Oliver. He was a multitime AMA champion on TZ250's http://richoliver.net/ About 5 hours Northwest of LAX

Yamaha Champions Riding School is at Miller Motorsports park They have two schools in September. If you are interested in this school, mention my name, and you should get a 10% discount. About 10-12 hours drive or fly into Salt lake city, Utah.
    http://www.millermotorsportspark.com/riding-school/yamaha-champions-riding-school.html

Ken Hill is probably one of the top coaches in the country. He and Nick Ienatsch also run Yamaha Champions Racing School http://khcoaching.com/ He is in Northern California....so 5-7 hours north of LAX. He teaches at the N. Cal tracks, thunderhill, laguna seca, sonoma, and buttonwillow.

Dale Kieffer is another excellent coach from Yamaha Champions riding school. http://racersedgeperformance.com/about-us/ He is based out of Vegas about 4 hours east of LAX and teaches out at Chuckwalla and AAA speedway, may also teach out at the two Willow Springs tracks.

http://www.xtrememotorcyclerental.com/ runs a bike rental program and will provide race prepped bikes, at all these tracks. Ask for Brad and he will hook you up and treat you well.

Trackdays in S. Cal, N. Cal and Nevada.

Thunderhill about 7 hours north of LAX
Streets of Willow about 1.5 hours Northwest of LAX
Buttonwillow is about 2 hours North of LAX
Sonoma is about 6 hours North of LAX
Autoclub is about 1 hour east of LAX...still in the Los Angeles area.
Big Willow is right next to Streets of Willow larger fast track 1.5 hours for LAX
Spring Mountain is about an hour from Las Vegas. Around 5 hours from LAX
Chuckwalla is about 3 hours due east of LAX
Laguna Seca is about 5 hours north of LAX.

    Awesome.

You should come to the Indy GP after boot camp. We'll show you around the place. It's a bit more :wow: than the Doha circuit you're used to racing at.

By the way ... I should also mention I'm very jealous. I would LOVE to do a four day camp there. You are going to have the time of your life. Take lots of pictures.

NOTE: I sent Colin an email for him to make you work hard. Like REAL hard. Blame me later. :D

You will love Colin's school. I have spoken to a few people that have taken it and loved it. PM me on here if you make it to the Los Angeles area and want to get together or have questions on what/where to go.
