What is more likely...an out of round tire or a warped rim? Just eyeballing my tire as it spins it has a definite wobble to it. Would something like that also cause more wear on a bearing? The bent tire/wheel hub was definitely hotter than the other side which seems ok.

busted belt in a tire is much more likely. happens a lot with trailer tires. the rest i have no idea on, but people neglect trailer axle bearings way more than they should (not sayin you did).

    What Greg said, and...........
Jack it up and spin it.
Easy to see which one is out of round.

^I"m going to replace the whole rim/tire but didn't know if I could get away with one over the other (I can change a tire).

I thought the bearing was bad so I put a brand new one in and it did the same thing. Good lord 6 ply tires are $$.
