What is more likely...an out of round tire or a warped rim? Just eyeballing my tire as it spins it has a definite wobble to it. Would something like that also cause more wear on a bearing? The bent tire/wheel hub was definitely hotter than the other side which seems ok.
busted belt in a tire is much more likely. happens a lot with trailer tires. the rest i have no idea on, but people neglect trailer axle bearings way more than they should (not sayin you did).
^I"m going to replace the whole rim/tire but didn't know if I could get away with one over the other (I can change a tire). I thought the bearing was bad so I put a brand new one in and it did the same thing. Good lord 6 ply tires are $$.
