Track in eastern North Carolina

    Its not a race track. No pit lane or pit in/out. The turn (6 maybe?) comes way way to close to the front straight. No bathrooms or scoring tower or tech building near the track either.

    isnt that a testing ground of some sort ? Seems like that what I have heard or read -

    It is a testing site, they have run some 4 wheel driver education / Track day events. They have added some barriers/corner stations/etc, but it really is not a setup to be a 'race track'. No pits/grid, limited 'track side' facilities, no fences, etc. They were however making some modifications to make it more friendly to larger groups using the track. Heard one of the car groups asked about 'racing' there and they said something about not being allowed.

    It looks like it could be fun though.

    But, that fast right kink (it would probably be called turn 4 or 5) could pose a real hazzard in a race if you ran off there. You'd be into traffic in that right-hand loop in a hot minute.
