Could anyone share some advice with toy haulers? What to look for or what you have liked or would like?

I'm looking for a small toy hauler to pull with my suv.

    Thanks for any advice.

And get the 5th wheel hitch and check the tow rating on the truck before buying it. For example I though my 04 f-350 diesel long bed crew would be able to tow a 38-40' 5th wheel toy hauler. Nope. Limit is like 13,500 and you need at least 18,000 for that size.

So what would you tow a 15,000 lb fifth wheel with?

  19. I dunno, maybe by the numbers...i might be. But i know that i can pull it at 80mph on the interstate and it is only running at about 1800-1900rpm and getting 9ish mpg. I can't do it for long because i get aggravated, but when i drive it at 60-65mph i can get around 10mpg.

With kickass brakes on all 3 axles, it stops pretty damn quick too.

I can also get a few "fast and furious" cars off the line while pulling the TH. :D

So i dunno. I know that if you add up the numbers, i am prolly close to max, but with as easy as it takes off, pulls and stops, it damn sure doesnt feel like it.

The newer F-350's have a higher tow rating. I think the 2012 is up to like 22k. Its just the 04-05 or something like that has the 13.5k rating.
