Yea, he is the modern Foyt (although Kyle Larson is not far behind). I like how he went to AJ and asked for his blessing to run #14 on his car. Stewart has a passion and respect for all things racing that is unmatched in my opinion. I would hate to see him step out of racecars entirely.
A week or so ago there was a picture and a link to an article on FB him turning some laps in a Midget. The caption said it was the first time he'd been in a dirt car since the Ward incident. I didn't click the link. Tony's dad runs all over the country with a Legend car and an Excel Micro Mod. He showed up unannounced at the mid-week county fair race at my home track this summer. I could see Tony doing similar.
