I'm looking at buying a TLR. It has an M4 full system but engine is stock otherwise. The guy has a map for a Yosh full system loaded in, he said that at the time there wasn't a map for the M4 so he went with the Yosh one. The bike is real hard to ride off of idle, it surges real bad. He says it's real easy to change maps in the power commander. Is this true? Can anyone download a map and install it or is it proprietary to buying a software package? Thanks!

I would bet more it's the TPS adjustment or throttle bodies out of sync.

Maps are free from power commander though and are easy to install.

^^What he said.... Proper TPS Adjustment and a TRE and you should be good...

Get it on a Dyno and have it tuned properly. Arbitrary DJ maps are just that. What works for one bike doesn't always work for another.
