My track bike was delivered with a lot of rubber snot on the front wheel. What's the best to remove or should I? Heat gun and wire brush?

If that "rubber snot" is what I think it is, leave it. Those chunks come off naturally as you ride.

Rubber on the wheel? Rubber? On the aluminum wheel? WD-40 and a rag takes rubber marks off of metal and painted surfaces the fastest, in my experience.

If you mean extra rubber pieces suck on the tire's surface, just leave them alone. They will have no noticeable impact on performance and will wear off and reappear whenever.

WD40 wipes those off very easily, especially the marks on bodywork from flying tire balls

Your only choice is to buy new tires every time that happens

OY! JUST bought the SV and this was the front tire as delivered. Don't remember having this much snot on my FZR400, 675 or Buells when doing track days
