The back of all credit cards say "Not valid unless signed". Unless your name and signature is "Check ID" no one is supposed to take the card.
This nifty little item can be remotely set. Although a replica of the real deal, it is spring-armed and contains 200 bb's. Place by the pit scoot and sting the bastards!
I had a lady at the post office not take my CC because I had "check ID" on the back so I stoped doing that.
This chick was trying to steal a ninja 250 and might have gotten away with it were it not for a fast-acting security guard and a body-cavity search.
I posted about the bike on georgiasportbike: http://www.georgiasportbike.com/showthread.php?8363-Anyone-know-this-bike&p=116507#post116507
Post office is the only place that has turned me away due to "check id" on my cc, other than that I get my license checked at least 5 times more often than when I signed my cards. I'll just take cash to the post office, thanks. Good luck catching the thief.
It would make sense for two guys to be doing this, a lookout and the actual perp. A cell phone and a Bluetooth headset could be used for com.
It was. I remember looking at the bike. I remember my dad commenting that he wondered why street riders would ride around showing off their bikes at the track, since most racers are jaded/wired differently enough to not care.
I have no problem with walking away from a transaction if a vendor doesn't want to take my payment in the fashion in which I present it. And do people still go to the USPS office? Why?
